Ramyun (Korean Ramen) - Rice Heaven

$6.99 + Tax
This is one of those restaurants that I visit every now and then because I happen to drive by the area.  This time I was here because I went grocery shopping at the supermarket in the same strip mall.  I don't visit this restaurant all the time but every time I visited, it seemed to be under different management, or may be even different chef...

I remember the last time I ordered this Korean Ramen.  It was pretty good, even though yes, I could have made the same Ramen at home for a lot cheaper because it is the same instant Korean Ramen that I stock at home.  But sometimes after a long commute from work and feeling so hungry, I can't even spare the little energy left to make instant Ramen at home.  I ordered this Ramen because I was in one of those hungry and tired moments.  But I was disappointed this time.  The Ramen this time isn't like the one I had here last time, this Ramen was tasteless. Why? Did the cook forget the seasoning package from the Instant Ramen bag?  Or did the cook just add too much water?  This Ramen tasted nothing but heat.

I don't know what's going on in this restaurant.  But if I were the owner, or manager, I would taste the instant Ramen broth before I serve it to the customer.  It wasn't  bad tasting, it was just bland as if the seasoning package was too diluted. In my opinion, it certainly didn't pass the taste test of Korean Instant Ramen.  The instant Ramen I made at home is 10 times better than this, it's after all the typical store bought Korean Instant Ramen, with an added egg, and extra chopped green onions.  Blandness is not what I expect when I order a simple dish like this.
